Aspire Global to complete multi-vertical Dutch launch
Aspire Global is set to finalise the launch of its complete offering in the Netherlands, after securing licensing, covering multiple verticals, from the country’s regulator.
The company has successfully obtained licences for online casino operations, as well as its platform and sports betting, from the Kansspelautoriteit regulatory authority.
Aspire had previously established a presence in the Netherlands online casino space via its Pariplay content and aggregator provider, which secured a supply deal with Holland Casino.
Holland Casino was one of the first ten online operators granted a licence by the KSA, whilst igaming firm Karamba has also agreed to receive Aspire’s support for its own Dutch entry.
“The newly regulated Dutch market is growing quickly and one of Europe’s most appealing igaming markets,” commented Tsachi Maimon, CEO of Aspire Global.
“We expect the igaming market in the Netherlands to grow to ultimately become one of the biggest in Europe and are excited by the opportunities we see.
“Now, when our complete B2B offering is certified, we are ready to play a major role in shaping the Dutch market and to enhance the player experience also in the Dutch market.”
Additionally, Aspire has also already established a foothold in the Dutch web-based sports wagering market via its BtoBet sportsbook, which has so far supported the launch of Irish bookmaker BoyleSports in the country.
This agreement with BoyleSports marked Aspire’s first platform and managed services deal in the newly regulated Dutch market, whilst BtoBet also received a local certification for its Neuron 3 platform.
Since regulation came into effect on October 1 under the terms of the KOA Act, the Dutch online betting and gaming market has grown significantly, with some commentators projecting that it will become one of Europe’s most prominent.
