Bingoal opta por el software de protección de jugadores de Neccton

Bingoal opts for Neccton’s player protection software

Belgium-based gambling operator Bingoal, which delivers online sports betting and igaming to players in its home market as well as the Netherlands, is looking to enhance the protection offered to its network of players after teaming-up with Neccton.

This will see the group utilise the Vienna headquartered data science and software company’s mentor software for its Dutch online casino and sportsbook brand.

Neccton will integrate its player behaviour analysis tool with the online operator, which will alert the group and contact players who display critical behaviour directly.

A Bingoal spokesperson explained: “We are always looking for tools to improve our platform in order to better protect players from the potential risks of gambling addiction.

“Dr Michael Auer is an expert in the field of responsible gaming and that expertise is passed on to the mentor tool. For Bingoal it was a logical choice to choose mentor as a responsible gaming tool.

“mentor will help us to detect and approach players who show risky gaming behaviour in a proactive way. In this way we can ensure that we can build a lasting and loyal relationship with our players so that participating in gaming is and remains a pleasure.”

As a result of the integration, it is hoped that Bingoal’s online players will become guarded by an AI-based solution that analyses player behaviour in real-time to prevent problem gambling habits evolving. The software recognises possible problematic behaviour and works to help both player and operator to identify and address the issue.

For example, players are informed when their deposit frequency is increasing significantly, which aims to help customers make better-informed decisions about their play with individualised feedback. mentor also includes modules for fraud, AML and aCRM.

“We started our research in gambling 15 years ago and have published multiple academic studies in the area of player tracking and responsible gaming,” said Dr Michael Auer, Neccton director and head of development.

“We have shown that players who gamble responsibly are more loyal, and their customer lifetime is significantly longer. We are proud to assist millions of players across dozens of brands around the world and to add Bingoal to this family.”
